T., I explored both the creative and business ends of New York City’s Fashion Industry, working first as a designer of budget lingerie, selling to brand markets such as Mervyn’s, and K-Mart, and then as a salesperson of fashion trims, selling to design houses such as Liz Claiborne and Susan Bristol. After a number of years in the Fashion Industry, I realized that I missed working with children so I returned to teaching. Borrowing an old Peace Corps slogan, for me teaching has been "the hardest job you'll ever love". My goal is to continue making a difference in the field of education. I believe in excellence in education, with a focus on personalized attention. I am interested in positions which support and strengthen the work done in the classroom, such as mentoring, tutoring and ESL instruction.
